DO NOT..... I REPEAT, DO NOT tell your young children when your mind is heavily occupied by what could be any number of things, i.e. having a baby the next day in my case "Oh ya girls go ahead and take the library bag and go pick out some books for yourself" or you just might end up checking out something like this.
You can imagine my horror when Ryan called me into the girls room asking me what the heck this book was all about and why we had it. YIKES.

It's amazing the books they have at public libraries. I learned the hard way that you have to screen all books before letting children check them out.
We can also stand up to the public libraries and request that they only carry appropriate books!
that's awesome! kinda makes me want to find it for myself now and see what the heck the book is about. the picture cracks me up -- but what is funnier to me is that the girls picked it :)

You probably don't know me, i've met you a few times through Kris and Sarah and saw your link on Kris' blog. Anyway...I laughed sooo hard when I saw this post. I can't believe they had that book at the library. Thanks for the laugh today!
